We can proudly celebrate the achievement of our Chardonnay oAk free, vintage 2021, which found a place in the prestigious DiVino TOP 50 ranking of the best Bulgarian wines for 2022.

The main person responsible for its creation is Eng. Dimitrina Dimitrova - oenologist of Villa Ovcharovo.

The vineyard was planted in 2012 and is located in the land of the village of Ovcharovo near Targovishte, at an altitude of 330 m. The plot is on a plateau, facing south, with a 2% slope of the terrain. As an area, the Chardonnay variety is 2.45 ha. The terrain is terraced, and the soils are gravelly, highly carbonated. Harvest date is September 7-8, 2021.

Fermentation was carried out at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged for 1 month on fine lees. There is no contact with oak. Juicy citrus, white flowers and crisp freshness define our Chardonnay No Oak and we can't wait for you to get to know it. It will probably be love at first sip.

This wine was created with the idea of reflecting the characteristics of the Chardonnay variety and the specifics of the microdistrict - to be fresh and fruity, to be elegant and pleasant... To be yourself.
